Privacy policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Short version: Still keeps everything on your own computer. We don't have a server, we don't collect analytics, and we never sell or share your data.

What Still stores

Still saves these in your browser's extension storage (chrome.storage) on your device only:

This data never leaves your device. Removing the extension deletes it.

Google Calendar (optional)

If you choose Sign in with Google, Still asks for read-only access to your calendar events (calendar.events.readonly). It uses this only to:

Still reads the title, start time and end time of your upcoming events, directly from Google to your browser. It stores those few fields on your device and never sends them anywhere else. Still cannot create, change or delete calendar events. You can disconnect at any time in Still's Settings, which also revokes the access, or from your Google account permissions.

Still's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Websites you visit

To block a site, Still checks the address of the page you open against your own list of blocked sites, inside your browser. It doesn't record your browsing history and doesn't read the content of pages. During a focus session it shows a small timer on pages you visit; that timer doesn't read or change the page.
